Purdue vs. Northwestern: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
The No. 24 Northwestern Wildcats (7–2) will host the Purdue Boilermakers (2–7) on Saturday at Ryan Field.
The Wildcats are coming off a 23–21 win against Penn State, in which Jake Mitchell’s 35-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining in the fourth quarter sealed Northwestern’s victory. After starting quarterback Clayton Thorson went down with an injury in the first quarter, backup Zack Oliver took over and passed for one touchdown, while running for another in the win.
Last week, Purdue fell to Illinois, 48–14. The Boilermakers gained only 25 yards in the first quarter against the Fighting Illini, and completed the opening half with just 105 yards. Purdue finished the game with only 263 total yards of offense in the loss.
