NC State: Terry Henderson expected to miss 6-8 weeks with ankle injury

North Carolina State guard Terry Henderson is expected to miss at least six to eight weeks with a right ankle injury, the school announced on Saturday.
Henderson, who transferred to NC State after spending two seasons with West Virginia, sustained torn ligaments in his ankle during NC State’s 85–68 loss to William & Mary on Friday.
The 6’5” redshirt junior started on Friday, but exited after seven minutes of play and underwent x-rays and an MRI during the game.
“Obviously, this is a big blow to Terry and to our team,” head coach Mark Gottfried said. “I feel bad for Terry. He worked extremely hard to get ready for this year. Our team has to adjust, and we will need some young players to step up.”
