North Carolina still No. 1 in AP Top 25 poll, Oregon moves in

North Carolina is ranked No. 1 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday. The Tar Heels entered the preseason ranked No. 1 as well and are 2–0 after beating Temple and Fairfield over the weekend. Kentucky remained at No. 2.
The top five teams stayed the same with Maryland, Kansas and Duke following the Wildcats.
LSU dropped two spots to No. 23 and Oregon cracked the top 25 for the first time in two years. Wisconsin was No. 17 in the preseason poll and dropped out of the Top 25 after losing to Western Illinois on Sunday.
The Big Ten leads the way with five teams in the poll, while the Pac-12, ACC and Big 12 all have four teams.
