LIU Brooklyn knocked off Loyola Maryland in Baltimore on Monday after a wild final sequence.
With the game tied at 68, Loyola had the ball beneath its own basket and ran a play that gave Jarred Jones a look at a layup. The shot was blocked by LIU’s Jerome Frink, though.
LIU’s Martin Hermannsson picked up the loose ball and passed it to Joel Hernandez for the game-winning three-point shot at the buzzer.
