Michigan State 27: Michigan 23: Who could forget the ending to this one? The Spartans and Wolverines created an instant classic when Michigan’s punter improbably fumbled a snap on the final play and Jalen Watts-Jackson recovered it for a touchdown, stunning the Wolverine crowd.

Michigan State 52, Indiana 26: The Hoosiers hung around for three quarters, but the Spartans outscored Indiana 24–0 in the fourth quarter to stay undefeated.

Michigan State 55, Penn State 16: The Spartans clinched the Big Ten East with a convincing win in East Lansing against the Nittany Lions. Connor Cook returned from injury and threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns.

Michigan State 16, Iowa 13: A hard-nosed touchdown run by L.J. Scott with 27 seconds remaining lifted the Spartans past the Hawkeyes in the Big Ten championship game. The win also secured Michigan State’s place in the College Football Playoff.
