No. 1 QB prospect to decide between Florida, Georgia next week
No. 1 quarterback prospect Jacob Eason will decide between Florida and Georgia next week, reportsThe Palm Beach Post’s Anthony Chiang.
Eason, who is currently committed to Georgia, took an official visit to Florida last week following the hiring of head coach Kirby Smart at Georgia. Eason committed to Mark Richt’s Bulldogs in July 2014.
The 6'6'' senior passed for 3,585 yards and 43 touchdowns this season for Lake Stevens High School in Washington, while also leading the Vikings to a 12–1 record and an appearance in the state semifinals.
Eason was named Washington’s Gatorade Player of the Year for his performance this season, and will play in the U.S. Army All America Bowl on Jan. 9 in San Antonio.
He is the son of former NFL signal caller Tony Eason.
