Florida State will donate their end zone scoreboard to Florida A&M as their home field undergoes renovations, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

The Seminoles’ Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla. will get a new scoreboard as part of the renovations, making their old one expendable. They’ll give it to FAMU free of charge, according to the Democrat, but it will cost them roughly $125,000 to install it.

“We hope this is the beginning of an enhanced relationship with FSU to bring maximum value to our collective fans," FAMU athletic director Milton Overton said in a statement. “This also falls in line with Dr. Mangum's vision of best-in-class in all areas of our institution.”

Florida State athletic director Stan Wilcox added in the release that the two schools would continue to try to work together in the future.
