Former Texas A&M QB Kyler Murray transfers to Oklahoma
Former Texas A&M quarterback Kyler Murray will transfer to Oklahoma and has already signed a financial aid agreement with the school, Oklahoma announced on Thursday.
Murray played in eight games, three of those starts, for Texas A&M this season, passing for 686 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also rushed for 335 yards.
Murray, a former five-star prospect out of Allen High School in Allen, Texas, was ranked as the No. 4 prospect at his position by Scout.com in 2014-2015.
The Aggies also lost starting quarterback Kyle Allen, who announced he would be transferring in early December.
Allen completed 160 of 283 passes as a sophomore, finishing the season with 2210 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Texas A&M (8–4) plays Louisville (7–5) in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30. Sophomore quarterback Jake Hubenak will make the start.
