Ohio State S Vonn Bell declares for 2016 NFL draft
Ohio State safety Vonn Bell has announced his decision to enter the 2016 NFL draft.
“I have decided to make myself eligible and enter the 2016 NFL draft,” Bell said in a statement released through Ohio State. “It has been an honor and a privilege to play at the best university in the country, to play for the best coach in the country, and to help bring the 2014 national championship to The Ohio State University and the best fans in the country. My time here has been very special to me and my family. And I thank all Buckeye fans for their love and support.”
Bell is the ninth member of the Buckeye team to declare for the draft. He joins Michael Thomas, Jalin Marshall, Ezekiel Elliott, Cardale Jones,Eli Apple, Darron Lee, Tyvis Powell and Joey Bosa, who have all decided to forgo the remainder of their time at Ohio State.
Over the course of his collegiate career, Bell accumulated a total of 176 tackles and nine interceptions. He recorded 65 tackles this season.

Ohio State finished the season with a record of 12–1 after defeating Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1.
