COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) An attorney for Adolphus Washington says the Ohio State defensive lineman's misdemeanor solicitation charge will be dismissed under a plea deal if he completes a program in which men learn about victimization of prostitutes.

Attorney Phil Templeton told The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1V6s9Qv ) that's the standard plea offer for such cases and said Washington didn't get special treatment.

Court records show he pleaded guilty Tuesday in Columbus. His sentencing is Feb. 16. Before then, he must complete the program operated by the city attorney's office.

The senior from Cincinnati played in 12 games this year but was suspended for the Buckeyes' Fiesta Bowl victory over Notre Dame on Jan. 1.

Columbus police cited Washington Dec. 9. He issued an apology through the university, saying he's disappointed in himself and will learn from his mistake.
