Rob Ryan's son to play alongside Rex Ryan's son at Clemson

Matt Ryan has signed on as a preferred walk-on for the Clemson Tigers.

Newman High School offensive lineman Matt Ryan, son of Buffalo Bills assistant coach Rob Ryan, has signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Clemson as a preferred walk-on.

Ryan chose Clemson over offers from Southeastern and Akron.

Rex Ryan's son, Seth, is the placeholder for Clemson, which explains why both Ryan brothers were in attendance for the National Championship game against Alabama.

Former stars from Newman High School include Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr.
