The senior was averaging 9.8 points and 3.7 rebounds for the Gophers this season.

Morris started 16 games this season before freshman Dupree McBrayer took over in the starting lineup.
The university says that Morris will remain on scholarship for the remainder of the year. The Gophers are 6–19 on the year for 13th place in the Big Ten Conference.
