The Penn State Nittany Lions received commitments from three defensive ends on Saturday, including five-star recruit Micah Parsons.

Parsons, a 6'3", 215-pound sophomore out of Harrisburg, Pa., became the first member of the school’s 2018 recruiting class. After Parsons’s verbal, three-star juniors Yetur Matos and Damion Barber joined the Nittany Lions’ class of 2017.

Penn State’s coaching staff received a shake-up over the off-season; Fordham’s Joe Moorhead took over as offensive coordinator and Tim Banks and Brent Pry took new jobs on defense.
