Four-star running back Trey Sermon has committed to Oklahoma, he announced Friday on Twitter.
“After a long talk with my family I decided to commit to the University of Oklahoma,” Sermon tweeted.
The Marietta, Ga. native is the top-ranked running back in his state and 16th-overall in the class of 2017, according to Scout.com.
Sermon chose the Sooners over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan and Notre Dame, among several others. He is Oklahoma’s 12th commit in its 2017 recruiting class.
