Duke coach Joanne P. McCallie will remain with the program after the school’s human resources department finished an internal review, according to the Associated Press

Athletic director Kevin White addressed the investigation on Sunday, saying that McCallie “is, and will be, our head women's basketball coach and we support her.”

The school never announced an official reason for the investigation, but it came after a season in which three players transferred from the program. According to reports, former players and coaches were among those interviewed during the investigation.

Among the players that transferred was Azura Stevens, who was Duke’s leading scorer at 18.9 points per game.

McCallie has been the coach at Duke since 2007, posting a 531–213 record and winning four ACC championships.
