Notre Dame: Charlie Weis paid more than Brian Kelly in 2014–15

Former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis was paid more by the school than current coach Brian Kelly for 2014–15, the school’s tax returns revealed Monday.
According to ESPN, Weis earned $2,054,744 for the period of July 2014 to June 2015, while Kelly was paid $1,624,730.
Since being fired by Notre Dame in 2009, Weis has received additional annual payments, totaling $16,913,123 up to this point.
Weis went 35–27 during his five seasons with the Fighting Irish, producing only one bowl game victory. He has been out of coaching since 2014, when he was fired by Kansas after three season.

Kelly is 55–23 in six seasons at Notre Dame and took the team to the BCS National Championship game in 2012.
