Ohio State lands top quarterback recruit Tate Martell

Tate Martell, a five-star quarterback recruit who ranks No. 1 at his position according to Scout.com, has committed to Ohio State, he announced on Twitter.

Tate Martell, a five-star quarterback recruit who ranks No. 1 at his position according to Scout.com, has committed to Ohio State, he announced on Twitter.

Martell committed to Texas A&M last summer, but re-opened his recruitment in May. The Bishop Gorman (Nev.) High star is No. 14 in the class of 2017.

Ohio State already has a commitment from four-star quarterback Danny Clark of Archbishop Hoban (Ohio) High in this year’s class.

With two five-star recruits, 11 four-star recruits, and eight in the nation’s top 100, the Buckeyes currently boast the top 2017 recruiting class.
