Five–star cornerback Stanford Samuels III has committed to Florida State, he announced on Twitter Thursday.
“The recruiting journey, something that I'll remember for a lifetime. Now I’ve chosen where I will be spending the next 3-4 years of my life... Now I would like to officially announce that I will be committing to THE Florida State University,” Samuels wrote.
Samuels later told Scout.com that he felt most comfortable with the Seminoles.

Samuels is ranked as the No. 2 cornerback in the recruiting class of 2017 and the No. 10 overall recruit, according to Scout.com.
Florida State finished the 2015 season 10–3, including a loss to Houston in the Peach Bowl.
