Former Baylor recruit Patrick Hudson committed to Texas on Wednesday, according to ESPN.
Hudson, a four-star offensive guard from Silsbee, Texas, was one of five players who was released from his National Letter of Intent with Baylor.
The move came after a number of players announced that they did not plan to attend the school following coach Art Briles’s firing for his role in a sexual assault scandal that rocked the university.
Hudson also took an official visit to Oklahoma before committing to the Longhorns. He originally committed to Texas A&M in March before making a late flip to Baylor.
Hudson is ranked as the No. 68 overall player and No. 3 offensive guard according to Scout.com.
Texas coach Charlie Strong reacted to the news Wednesday, posting a message on Twitter.
