Missouri names Hank Foley as interim athletic director
Missouri interim chancellor Hank Foley will also take on the role of interim athletic director, with former interim athletic director Wren Baker departing to accept a job at North Texas, the university announced.
“The strength of Mizzou’s athletic department–as with the rest of our university–remains strong,” Foley said in a statement. “I am confident we will continue to attract top-notch candidates and select a new director for athletics that will bring about even greater success for Mizzou.”
Baker served in the interim position for about two weeks. The role was previously filled by Mack Rhoades, who is now the athletic director at Baylor. Rhoades was only in his position for 14 months.
