Florida State freshman quarterback Malik Henry has been suspended indefinitely, coach Jimbo Fisher announced after practice Saturday.
Henry, a four-star recruit from Long Beach Poly in California, drew the suspension due to a undisclosed violation of team rules.
If Henry is unavailable for the season opener, the Seminoles would only have two scholarship quarterbacks on the depth chart for that game, projected starter Deondre Francois and J.J. Cosentino. Backup Sean Maguire will miss at least the first game of the season after undergoing foot surgery.
Henry is expected to redshirt his freshman season.
