Ohio State now has No. 1 recruiting class with commitments from two top receivers

Ohio State’s 2017 recruiting class has passed Alabama as the best in the nation.

Ohio State received a pair of commitments from top-five wide receivers on Monday, and now has the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class according to Scout.com.

Trevon Grimes, a five-star wide receiver who ranks No. 3 at the position, and Tyjon Lindsey, a four-star wideout who comes in at No. 5, both announced they’d join the Buckeyes in a video released by Bleacher Report.

Grimes and Lindsey rank No. 24 and No. 37 overall in the country, respectively.

Ohio State now has 18 commitments for the class of 2017. Five players are five-star recruits, and 12 are four-star players. Alabama's class now ranks No. 2, followed by Oklahoma.
