Oregon Ducks starting cornerback Chris Seisay intends to transfer and has been granted a full release from the school, OregonLive.com confirmed on Sunday.
The junior was one of the most experienced defensive backs among a group of underclassmen. He recorded 55 tackles, six passes defended a forces fumble and an interception in 18 games for the Ducks. He started the first two games of the 2015 season before missing eight games, but he returned for the school’s postseason run.
In a text to OregonLive, Seisay said he wasn’t thrilled with his playing time.
Arrion Springs and Ugo Amadi will likely start at cornerback for the Ducks.
