Four-star F Jericho Sims chooses Texas over Minnesota
Four-star forward Jericho Sims of Christo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, Minn.) has committed to joining the Texas Longhorns, according to Scout.com.
“I just feel like I fit in the most there and not just with the players, but the coaches and the assistant coaches,” he told Scout.
Sims is the second recruit for the Longhorns' Class of 2017. He was also considering Minnesota, Connecticut, Kansas and Ohio State before electing to join Shaka Smart's squad in Austin. Smart recently signed a contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2022–23 season.
