How to watch South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
The South Carolina Gamecocks will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores as both teams open up their seasons at Vanderbilt Stadium on Thursday.
Will Muschamp will look to orchestrate a bounce back season for the Gamecocks in his first season with the program. South Carolina had a disappointing season in 2015, during which coach longtime coach Steve Spurrier stepped down. The Gamecocks finished 3–9, losing their final five games.
Vanderbilt faired only slightly better than South Carolina last season, going 4–8 in Derek Mason’s second season leading the program. The Commodores look to have a strong defense heading into the 2016 campaign, and will rely on quarterback Kyle Shurmur to lead the offense.
