LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) Quarterbacks Tommy Armstrong Jr. of Nebraska and Perry Hills of Maryland are injured and not starting the game at Memorial Stadium.
Armstrong is fourth-year starting quarterback for the No. 19 Cornhuskers. He has a lingering hamstring injury and didn't suit up. Fifth-year senior Ryker Fyfe is making his second start for Nebraska.
Hills is in uniform and has had shoulder problems all season. The Terrapins started freshman Max Bortenschlager, who has appeared in only one game.
Armstrong has started 43 games since 2013 to tie a school record, winning 30 of them. Fyfe made his only start last year at Purdue. He threw four interceptions and lost a fumble in a 55-45 defeat.
