Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey declares for NFL draft
Christian McCaffrey joins an NFL draft class that already includes LSU's Leonard Fournette and Texas’s' D'Onta Foreman.

Stanford junior running back Christian McCaffrey has declared for the 2017 NFL draft.
McCaffrey is coming off a season in which he recorded 1,603 yards and 13 touchdowns on 253 carries. He finishes his three years at Stanford with 3,922 rushing yards, 1,206 receiving yards, 1,859 return yards and 33 career touchdowns.

McCaffrey was a finalist for the 2015 Heisman Trophy. He is the son of former NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey.
The 2017 NFL draft class already includes two prominent running backs in LSU’s Leonard Fournette and Texas’s D'Onta Foreman.
