Five-star recruit Trevon Duval has verbally committed to Duke University.

Duval announced his decision on The Players Tribune Monday morning.

I'm excited to evolve as a student, as a basketball player and now, and forever, as a Blue Devil," Duval said in a video on The Players Tribune.

According to Rivals.com, Duval is the No. 2 point guard and the No.7 overall recruit in the 2017 class. He is the No. 5 overall recruit in the ESPN 300.

Duval, listed 6'3" and 185 pounds, played last season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida where he averaged 16.1 points and 7.5 assists a game. He also had offers from Arizona, Baylor, Kansas and Seton Hall.

Duke's top five recruiting haul for next season continues as the Blue Devils have already received commits from power forward Wendell Carter, guard Gary Trent Jr., shooting guard Alex O'Connell and point guard Jordan Goldwire.
