What Time is the Heisman Trophy Ceremony?
College football's regular season has come to a close, which means its time to hand out one of the most illustrious awards of the year.
This year's group of finalists is solely comprised of quarterbacks, including Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, Oklahoma's Kyler Murray and Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins. The winner will be announced at the presentation ceremony at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. It begins at 8 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN.
Tagovailoa was seen as a slight favorite to win the award over Murray most of the season before a rough outing in Alabama's SEC title game victory. Alabama's sophomore signal caller amassed 3,353 passing yards with 37 touchdowns this season, but only threw for 164 yards and one score last weekend.
Murray led Oklahoma to a Big 12 championship and put together a strong campaign this year, passing for 4,053 yards and 40 scores. He rushed for an additional 892 yards with 11 touchdowns. Haskins broke multiple records this year at Ohio State, 2018's Big Ten champions, posting 4,580 passing yards and 47 touchdowns.
