Missouri safety Tyree Gillespie was ejected in the third quarter for a brutal targeting hit on Vanderbilt QB Mo Hasan.
Missouri safety Tyree Gillespie was ejected from Saturday's game after a brutal targeting hit on Vanderbilt quarterback Mo Hasan.
Hasan was already down on the ground when Gillespie led with his helmet to hit the quarterback late in the third quarter. Hasan looked woozy and had to be helped off the field. Riley Neal came in to replace him.
Because of his ejection, Gillespie will have to sit out the first half of Missouri's game against Kentucky next week.
