The entire field of 68 has officially been unveiled.

The entire field of 68 has been revealed for the 2023 men’s NCAA tournament, with the march to the Final Four in Houston officially underway following Selection Sunday.

The top of this year’s bracket will be headlined by Alabama, Houston, Kansas and Purdue after the programs were selected as No. 1 seeds on the heels of a thrilling week of conference championship games. Meanwhile, Arizona, Texas, UCLA and Marquette were announced as No. 2 seeds.

After finishing the season ranked No. 1 in the AP poll, AAC regular-season champion Houston secured a top seed following an impressive 31–3 campaign that ended in a 75–65 defeat on Sunday against Memphis in the conference tournament final. Kansas (27–7), the third-ranked team at the season’s end, earned a top spot less than a day after falling to Texas in the Big 12 title game. SEC champion Alabama (28–5, No. 4), for the first time in team history, secured a coveted No. 1 seed, as did another formidable program in Big Ten champion Purdue (28–5, No. 5) for its first since 1996.

The rest of the top eight will feature another trio of conference title holders: Big 12 champion Texas (26–8), Pac-12 champion Arizona (28–6) and Big East champion Marquette (28–6). UCLA (29–5), who finished the season ranked second in the country, earned a top-two seed just hours removed from a heartbreaking Pac-12 championship loss to the Wildcats.
