Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline was injured Sunday morning in an ATV crash, according to a Sunday afternoon statement from the Buckeyes’ athletic department.

Per the statement, "Hartline and a friend, unaffiliated with Ohio State, were transported to Riverside Hospital" in Columbus with what were described as "non-life threatening injuries."

Prior to the statement’s release, Hartline tweeted that he “crashed (his) side by side on (his) property” and was “taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

Hartline, 36, took over Ohio State's offensive coordinator job on Jan. 13 after former offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson left to coach Tulsa in Dec. 2022.

Before his promotion, Hartline worked with the Buckeyes in various assistant roles from 2017 to ’22. He gained renown as one of college football’s best wide receivers coaches, helping Ohio State produce a pair of first-round draft picks at the position in ’22.

Hartline played seven years in the NFL for the Dolphins and Browns from 2009 to ’15.
