Zach Wilson’s Brother Isaac Announces College Football Commitment
The younger brother of Jets quarterback Zach Wilson has announced his college commitment.
Isaac Wilson, a four-star quarterback prospect in the class of 2024, has reportedly declared he’ll start his college football career at the University of Utah.
The Corner Canyon HS product made his commitment on Wednesday night, opting to join the Utes over the likes of Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Oklahoma State, and BYU.
Isaac chose not to follow in the footsteps of his three older brothers, all of whom played football at BYU. Zach, of course, was a standout quarterback who ended up getting selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Fellow Wilson siblings, Micah and Josh, were both linebackers for the program, too.
That bit of history didn’t seem to sway Wilson away from the Utes. After he visited the program in mid April, Utah locked up the commitment of the youngest Wilson brother.
“I've been a Utah fan since I could remember and then we made that flip with Zach, who did his thing," said Wilson, via 247Sports. “But now I'm excited to do my thing, go back to our roots and go back to where my dad played. I couldn't be more excited to be committed to Utah."
Wilson’s father, Michael, played defensive tackle for the Utes from 1992 to ’95.
Wilson is heralded as the No. 14 quarterback in his class and the No. 2 prospect in the state of Utah by 247Sports.
