Mark Ingram Joining Fox’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ This Fall
With less than two months to go until the start of the college football season, Fox’s flagship pregame show is getting a shakeup to its lineup.
On Thursday, Fox announced that former Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram will join the network as part of its Big Noon Kickoff show. The former Alabama star joins host Rob Stone and analysts Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and Urban Meyer.
Ingram’s addition comes a month after reports surfaced that he was being considered as a replacement for Reggie Bush, who was believed to be on his way out due to a contract dispute with the network. Bush was not mentioned in Fox’s press release announcing Ingram’s addition.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Heisman Trophy-winner and BCS National Champion Mark Ingram to the FOX Sports family,” FOX Sports executive Brad Zager wrote in a statement. “Mark’s infectious personality, outstanding playing credentials and above all passion for the game is what makes him such an invaluable asset to our team.”
Ingram, 33, spent 12 seasons in the NFL, most recently with the Saints in 2022. He made three Pro Bowls during his professional career, and recorded three 1,000-yard rushing seasons. He was also a key member of Alabama’s national championship in ’09, the program’s first under Nick Saban.
Ingram won the Heisman Trophy that year in one of the closest votes in the award’s history, narrowly beating out Stanford running back Toby Gerhardt. He became the first player in program history to win the award.
