USC guard Bronny James suffering a cardiac arrest during practice Monday was cause for concern across the basketball world as details of the event became public Tuesday.

However, the event was first and foremost a tragedy for the James family. As James’s father LeBron—the NBA’s all-time leading scorer—and mother Savannah thanked USC medical personnel for their timely response, the freshman’s younger brother Bryce expressed support for his brother on Instagram.

Bryce James posted a picture of the two brothers seemingly laughing at a phone video while walking outside an arena on his story, complete with a simple heart emoji.

The James brothers are separated by two years. Bronny was born in Oct. 2004 and Bryce in June 2007, both in Cleveland while their father was with the Cavaliers.

Bronny James has received support from across the sports world since news of his medical situation became public, including from Bills safety and fellow cardiac arrest survivor Damar Hamlin.
