Deion Sanders Doesn’t Look Thrilled by Idea of His Sons Leaving for NFL Next Year

The Colorado coach doesn’t love the idea of his sons heading to the NFL next season.
In this story:

Colorado is the talk of college football after the team’s 3–0 start to the season, and a key reason for the hot start for the Buffaloes is the play of Deion Sanders’s sons, quarterback Shedeur and defensive back Shilo.

Shedeur has emerged as one of the top signal callers in the sport, while Shilo has been making plays all over the field, highlighted by his interception return for a touchdown against Colorado State last Saturday.

The NFL has naturally come up in conversation for his two sons, and Deion made it clear that his kids aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

“Shilo said, ‘Oh, wow, Shedeur, look. You gonna be in the NFL next year.’ I said, ’No he ain’t.’ …You all ain’t going nowhere,” Deion said to his sons in a YouTube video posted by Well Off Media. Deion, Shilo and Shedeur were seen taking in the Broncos game at Mile High on Sunday against the Commanders from a luxury box.

It’s clear that Deion wants his two sons around as he continues his rapid rebuild in Boulder with Colorado. Despite the professional hype around the duo, it remains to be seen whether their professional aspirations will be realized as soon as some around the NFL game believe.
