Colorado’s New Football Helmets Left Players and Fans in Awe

Colorado's new helmets for Saturday's Pac-12 showdown against Arizona State are a hit with players and college football fans.

For Colorado’s Pac-12 showdown with Arizona State, the Buffaloes are wearing new look helmets on Saturday, and they are an immediate hit with both players and fans on social media.

On platform X (formerly known as Twitter), a video was shared sharing Colorado players positively reacting to new shiny black helmets highlighted with a gold CU logo and bold gold face masks.

In conjunction with the new flashy helmets, the Buffaloes will be wearing white jerseys with black lettering and black pants.

During coach Deion Sanders’s first season in Boulder, Colorado continues to sport bold uniform enhancements both on the field and off (with Sanders’s signature sunglasses). 

In addition to the excitement shared by players, fans on social media were also left in awe of the stunning new helmets.

The Buffaloes beat the Sun Devils, 27-24, to improve to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in Pac-12 play.
