Colorado’s Travis Hunter to Promote American Eagle in NIL Agreement
Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter is partnering with American Eagle for a new NIL deal, adding the popular clothing brand to his extensive catalog of NIL agreements.
On Friday, Hunter posted about the AE partnership on Instagram with the caption “Off the Field Comfort @americaneagle #AEPartner #aejeans.” The new deal for the Buffaloes’ cornerback and wide receiver comes as he continues to generate buzz and excitement both on and off the field.
In addition to American Eagle, Hunter has NIL deals with Actively Black, the Michael Strahan Brand, NXTRND and SoHoodie. He also has fishing-related agreements with Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, KastKing and WaterLand Co.
Hunter sat at the epicenter of college football during the first two weeks of the season, registering more than 274 snaps in Colorado’s two games against TCU and Nebraska. However, in Colorado’s win against Colorado State in Week 3, Hunter lacerated his liver after taking a mammoth hit from Rams safety Henry Blackburn, forcing him to miss the Buffaloes’ next three games.
Despite the Buffaloes’ 46–43 double-overtime loss to Stanford, Hunter returned to the field and recorded 13 receptions for 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also registered five tackles on defense.
In addition to Hunter’s new deal and his impact on the gridiron, the 20-year-old has continued to make waves in the media. On Tuesday, Hunter and his teammate, Shedeur Sanders, had front row seats to the Lakers’ season opener against the Nuggets at Ball Arena.
While sitting courtside for the contest, Lakers star LeBron James spoke to the Colorado duo, saying he loved them. Hunter and Sanders were adorably excited about the comment and respect from the four-time MVP.
