Deion Sanders Put Colorado Offensive Line on Blast Following Loss
Deion Sanders sounds like a coach as close to finished with his offensive line as possible. When addressing Colorado’s struggles along the line, as they allowed seven sacks in the 28-16 loss to UCLA, “Coach Prime” was as blunt as humanly possible about it.
“The big picture, you get get new lineman. That’s the picture and I’ma paint it perfectly,” Sanders told reporters after the loss.
If there was ever a way to put a group on notice, Sanders had no issue doing so, and his frustration was apparent with a group that's allowed 31 sacks on the season, the fourth-most in college football.
Colorado fell to 4-4 on the season with the loss and just 1-4 in conference play this season. While the passing game for the Buffs was certainly not the issue, the team totaled just 25 rushing yards on 24 attempts, which included quarterback Shedeur Sanders constantly attempting to evade pressure all night.
