The season meets its stretch run as there are somehow just three weeks left. It may not be the deepest week of games, but the main event is a huge one.

Definitely good

Michigan vs. Penn State (12 p.m., Fox)

Finally, the preseason is over for Michigan. The Wolverines have played approximately nobody up to this point, and feasted on teams both out of conference and in conference that don’t belong on the field with them. The question is, with all of Penn State’s defensive firepower, will the Nittany Lions put up a fight against the Wolverines, who without a doubt have something to prove.

Sneaky good (or at least with something of notable intrigue)

Florida State vs. Miami (3:30 p.m., ABC)

One of the best rivalries in college football so rarely disappoints. Can the Canes shake this funk they seem to be in and challenge the ‘Noles who look like they remain so difficult to beat?

Utah vs. Washington (3:30 p.m., FOX)

Utah’s usually frisky in a game like this, but in this matchup they might not have the firepower to hang with Washington.

Ole Miss vs. Georgia (7:00 p.m., ESPN)

The Dawgs are in the middle of a tough stretch of games. Ole Miss poses offensive challenges as always. Will the Rebels have their day? Or will Georgia continue to kick it into gear as they look toward a title?

USC vs. Oregon (10:30 p.m., FOX)

Can USC rebound from a disastrous loss against Washington or is Oregon really revving up as a true Playoff contender? The litmus test is dominating the Trojans even though their offense is explosive.
