With the news that Texas A&M is reportedly firing coach Jimbo Fisher Sunday, he’s expected to get a massive buyout from the school thanks to his lucrative 2017 contract.

Fisher signed a 10-year deal worth $75 million at the time and the Aggies are expected to honor the contract in full, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. It’s unclear what the exact buyout will be, but it will be around the $75 million mark.

Fisher has made $45 million while at Texas A&M and will receive a $77 million buyout, per Andrew Brandt of the Moorad Center at Villanova, the school’s study of sports law. Ross Dellenger of Yahoos Sports and The Athletic’s Chris Vannini are reporting that the buyout is roughly $75 million, though.

The exact number will remain unknown for the time being, but at the very least, it will be one of the largest buyouts in college football history. Since being hired, Texas A&M has a 44–25 record under Fisher and his currently 6–4 on the year.
