Did former Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher know that he was about to get fired after his team’s 51–10 win over Mississippi State?

There’s no way to know for certain, but after Fisher’s postgame speech that lacked the expected passion of a team that won a game by six touchdowns, college football fans were left perplexed.

Here’s the video footage from Fisher’s locker room speech following A&M’s victory on Saturday, in which the former Aggies coach did not seem as excited as one would expect.

Fisher’s lack of passion led college football fans to wonder whether he was aware of his impending dismissal that came on Sunday morning after 5.5 seasons in College Station.

If Fisher can’t get excited about a 41-point win while under an immense amount of stress, perhaps he’ll be a bit more excited once the buyout checks start rolling into his bank account. Texas A&M has committed to pay the entirety of Fisher’s $76 million buyout.

Here are the best reactions from social media in the wake of Fisher’s final postgame speech to his program.
