The joy of watching televised college basketball in the afternoon in November cannot be overstated. Few sports can compete with the game's smorgasbord of in-season tournaments—try as the NBA might—and "Feast Week" often serves as a delectable appetizer for March Madness.

The crown jewel of these tournaments is the Maui Invitational, revered for its idyllic setting and traditionally airtight field of eight. This year was no exception, with national title contenders KansasPurdueMarquetteTennessee and Gonzaga all present.

Thus, a loaded Maui bracket and an idle populace eyeing Thanksgiving is a recipe for, say, a legendary actor tweeting about the tournament's third-place game.

During the Jayhawks' 69-60 win over the Volunteers, Samuel L. Jackson boldly accused Kansas center Hunter Dickinson for flopping.

"Damn, this Dickenson [sic] MF on (Kansas) flops like he's on a Soccer Pitch!!!" Jackson wrote on social media.

For what it's worth, Jackson was not the only one who spent the days leading up to Thanksgiving wondering if Dickinson could stay on his feet a bit more.

Dickinson finished with 17 points and 20 rebounds in 30 minutes for the Jayhawks.

Somewhere, perhaps, Battle 4 Atlantis organizers are scheming to get Bradley Cooper to tweet about Armando Bacot.
