Florida State Fans Go Ballistic Over College Football Playoff Snub

Seminoles fans were furious after their undefeated squad failed to make it to the College Football Playoff.

The College Football Playoff has officially been determined and Florida State fans are furious after their team’s undefeated squad failed to make the cut. The committee chose MichiganWashingtonTexas and Alabama, a one-loss team.

Seminoles fans were joined by college football fans in the reaction of utter disbelief. Just one day after completing the perfect season with a 13-0 record with an ACC title game victory over Louisville, they couldn’t believe it still wasn’t enough to earn one of the four spots.

The Seminoles didn’t lose a single game all year, won their conference and still did not make the playoff — which is virtually unheard of and shocking. Of course, the big hit to their pursuit of a shot at making the playoff came when Florida State lost star quarterback Jordan Travis for the reminder of the season due to injury. In turn, this made their squad significantly less formidable than it was earlier in the year. But college football fans attempted to poke holes in that argument as well.

Many fans brought up the 2014 Ohio State team, who ended up making the College Football Playoff with third-string quarterback Cardale Jones at the helm. They felt the Seminoles deserved that same opportunity.

One thing is for sure. Florida State fans won’t forget about this decision anytime soon.
