Ohio State women’s basketball upset No. 2 Iowa in overtime on Sunday afternoon creating a chaotic and exciting scene at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The Buckeyes rallied from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take a late lead over the Hawkeyes. Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke made one free throw with nine seconds left in regulation to push the game into overtime.

Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark’s nine points in overtime wasn’t enough to help her team to victory as No. 18 Ohio State dominated in the extra five minutes to win 100–92. As time expired, the packed crowd rushed the court to celebrate the Buckeyes’ massive win over the Hawkeyes.

While Ohio State fans stormed the floor, Clark ended up running straight into a fan. The guard fell to the ground and appeared to be in pain as she exited the court.

An Iowa spokesperson told The Messenger’s Jeff Goodman that Clark was not injured in the collision.

Clark finished the game with 45 points, which is her highest total of the season so far. She also had seven assists and three rebounds.
