Purdue’s Zach Edey Joins Patrick Ewing, David Robinson in Elite Statistical Club

Purdue center Zach Edey joined some elite company during Sunday’s game against Wisconsin.

Edey’s second block of the game was the 200th of his career, pushing him past an impressive milestone that only two other players in college basketball history have ever reached.

The 21-year-old became the third player in NCAA history with 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 200 blocks, and at least 60 percent shooting from the field. The two other members of this exclusive club?

Patrick Ewing and David Robinson.

Edey, who also became the second player in Purdue's history with 100 double-figure scoring games, has averaged 23.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks this season.

The 7-foot-4 star has helped the No. 2-ranked Boilermakers reach new heights in his senior year and will lead his team on a hopefully deep postseason run in March.

Purdue won Sunday’s game on the road against the Badgers, 75–69.
