Not everyone wanted to celebrate the inaugural “Caitlin Clark Day” on Thursday.

Before No. 4 Iowa’s matchup against No. 14 Indiana at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, one Hoosiers fan went viral for her passionate loyalty to the crimson and cream.

“What’s relevant about [Iowa]? I don’t see anything,” the fan said with a hint of sarcasm in an interview with KCRG’s Jack Lido. “Caitlin Clark? Never heard of her.”

Later in the game, that same fan was shown on the Jumbotron holding up a message on her phone accusing the No. 22 Clark of, well, perhaps overselling some calls.

It was a great night for this fan, who watched her Hoosiers take down Clark and the Hawkeyes 86–69 at home. Sara Scalia led Indiana with 25 points, and Mackenzie Holmes chipped in 24 points and nine rebounds.

Clark, on the other hand, finished one assist short of a triple-double but made just 3 of 16 three-point attempts and registered 24 points.

College basketball fans on social media loved the Indiana supporter’s unquestioned loyalty:
