Florida Atlantic's standout guard Johnell Davis has entered the transfer portal and plans to declare for the NBA Draft, he announced on Tuesday night. He's now the fourth Owl to enter the portal since Dusty May took the Michigan job last month.

Davis averaged 18.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists this season, which was enough for him to share AAC Player of the Year honors. Florida Atlantic lost to Northwestern in the First Round of the NCAA tournament this season, but Davis was a pivotal part of the team that went to the Final Four in 2023.

He now becomes one of the best available players in the portal and will have no shortage of interest from other programs and coaches. Including May, who could make a big splash by bringing his former player to Michigan.

Davis saved some of his best performances for the biggest stages while at FAU, scoring 35 points in a win against Arizona last season and 26 in a victory over Texas A&M.
