Caitlin Clark had the King bowing down to her during Sunday’s NCAA title game between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Clark dropped 18 points in the first quarter, setting a record for the most points in a quarter by a single player in championship game history.

Amid Clark’s red-hot start, Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James posted his support for the senior guard on Twitter.

James wrote, “If you don’t rock with Caitlin Clark game you’re just a FLAT OUT HATER!!!!! Stay far away from them people!! PLEASE”

Last week, the Lakers star spoke glowingly of Clark and called her an “icon” who has undeniably elevated the women’s game.

Clark, the NCAA's all-time leading scorer and back-to-back AP Player of the Year, has led Iowa to back-to-back national championship games.
