Iowa Hawkeyes basketball star Caitlin Clark captured the 2024 John R. Wooden Award, an honor given to the most outstanding player in men's and women's basketball. Clark was joined by Purdue's Zach Edey as the 2024 award recipients.

It was Clark's second time winning the honor, and earlier this week, actor Jason Sudeikis—who has been a mainstay at Iowa's postseason games over the last month—attended the awards ceremony and gifted Clark with a Ted Lasso-themed jersey.

Iowa's women's basketball account posted pictures of Clark, holding up a No. 22 AFC Richmond jersey that was gifted to her by Sudeikis, with the caption "We all BELIEVE in 22."

Clark's outstanding season captivated college basketball, even as she and the Hawkeyes fell short in the national championship game to South Carolina.

Clark is expected to be the No.1 pick in the WNBA draft to the Fever on Monday night, which has sent Indiana's season-ticket prices skyrocketing.

Clark will be must-see TV as she kicks off her professional career this summer.
